As you can’t have failed to notice: the blog has a clean new look. I’ve been wanting to change it for quite some time and it finally got to the top of the list of priorities.
The layout of the site is pretty much consistent with the previous version, with the posts (with comments) on the left of the screen, and the sidebar on the right. The sidebar now contains even more ways to search the site. The options you now have are:
- by page
- by post
- by category
- by archive (2 options; within a calendar month or by category
- by date (click on the highlighted days of the calendar)
- by recent comment (a really quick way of finding out what your fellow readers are saying)
- by “tag” (already defined “keywords” within each post) arranged alphabetically
- by search box
As far as I can tell, everything has migrated across properly and is working as it should. However, if you come across something that isn’t working correctly, please leave a comment below.
