In my first article I promised to preach what I practise and introduce you to some of the features on my blog, which I use to drive traffic to this site. Today, I’d like to tell you about the ViralAdsUnleashed service. You can become a “silver” member for free, although upgrades are available.
You can see the ViralAdsUnleashed widget on this blog on the right, about 2 inches below the calendar. You may think that it is just a bunch of ads and not pay any attention to them, and that’s fine by me as I’d rather have you here on my site than go shooting off to someone else’s! So what’s the point of showing them? Fair question. Personally, I’m not interested in what the ads can do for me, but what displaying the widget that contains them can do.
When you, and all my other readers visit my site, I get “credits” for displaying the widget on my blog. The more visitors I get to my site, the more credits I earn and these are used automatically to “buy” appearances of my own ad on other websites also displaying the widget. (It won’t surprise you to learn that my current ad is promoting the “20 free quality e-books” on my site.) So what do you achieve by doing this? Well, your site, via your offer in your ad, is brought to the attention of visitors to other sites and can build that all-important traffic for you.
If that was all there was to it, you’d have a chicken and egg situation: you’d first need visitors to earn the credits to buy visitors! But you can earn credits in other ways too. The easiest is by clicking a link in the e-mails other members send to you - this will earn you between 5 and 25 credits. Now I’m the first to admit that this can be a mind-numbing occupation if you’re doing it for any length of time, but if you’ve more time than money it’s a good way to start to build up credits, so that your own ads can get displayed.
You can set up as many ads as you want and you can choose the market they are to be targeted at. It is also very easy to check which of your ads are performing and which aren’t via the in-built ad tracker. This is very simple to set up, as, indeed, is the whole system but there are instructional videos for the more “complex” parts.
By joining ViralAdsUnleashed you automatically become an affiliate for it. Built into the system is a full set of promotional tools, which you can use to encourage others to sign up for ViralAdsUnleashed through your own link (the widget itself is one of them). The more people who join your own network through your link, the more e-mails you can send out to other random members.
So how effective is it at getting traffic? Well, as always, I’ll be completely honest with you. Up till now, I’ve only had modest success with displaying the widget (but even so, every extra single visitor is welcome). Now this modest success might be down to the widget itself or it might be due to the ineffectiveness of the ads I’ve written - so, like everything else in internet marketing, I’m testing and tracking variations of my ad, to try to improve the return I get from it.
However, what HAS worked really well is the success rate of the e-mails I’ve sent out through the ViralAdsUnleashed system. These e-mails have resulted in a TREMENDOUS number of visitors signing up to my list to get their free e-books.
You will recall that the size of the network you have built up determines how many people see your e-mails - more precisely, that is what you rely on if you opt for the free “silver” membership. I took a deep breath, opened my wallet and took advantage of the “One Time Offer” you see when you’ve signed up for the free membership. I’m really glad I did. My e-mails now go out to 3000 random members of ViralAdsUnleashed every 3 days. There are various levels of upgrade, but my one-off payment means that I am now able to do this FOR LIFE.
How long is it going to take you to build up a list THAT size?
Now, remember I’m from Yorkshire (for the benefit of my non-UK readers: rumour has it that Yorkshiremen are loathe to part with their money!) but this to me seems to be a darn good investment. Everyone says that “the money is in the list”. If that is so, surely the best thing you can invest in is a READY-MADE list!
In internet marketing circles, when you talk about “buying traffic” everyone firstly thinks of the use of “adwords” or other Pay Per Click (PPC) systems. Now I know that some marketers are very successful with PPC, but to me it seems to be a science of its own, and where you have to pay before you find out how successful you’ve been. I know you could say that about any investment in advertising, but there is one crucial difference. With PPC you have to keep on paying to use the system. With ViralAdsUnleashed you have a one-off investment for LIFE.
I highly recommend ViralAdsUnleashed to you. Sign up to become a free “silver” member, at least. But I strongly suggest that you do as I did, and open your wallet when the “One Time Offer” appears. It will be a lot cheaper to upgrade then, rather than later. Believe me, you’ll be glad you did.

sounds interesting, but maybe a bit complicated for me at this time a newbie feeling swamped with so much information and often conflicting ways of achieving certain goals.

Thanks for the comment and the separate e-mail.
I appreciate that timing is all important. Of course, my readers are all at different stages in the development of their businesses, so I can’t expect every one of my posts to be relevant to everyone. Having said that, there is a lot of information out there and it can be difficult to decide what to take notice of.
Hopefully, where I’m a step or two ahead of my readers, my own research and/or experiences may save you all a lot of time/money.

Signing up to ViralAdsUnleashed has definitely been good for my business; I don’t see why it shouldn’t be for yours.
Conversely, Tybit.com is obviously working well for you, so why shouldn’t it do so for me? Have moved it up the list of priorities and will definitely check it out properly in the next couple of days. (Thanks for the reminder!)
