Hello Everyone,
My name is David Preston and I live in West Yorkshire in the United Kingdom with my wife, daughter, cat and a multitude of tropical fish (if you‘ve ever kept guppies, you’ll know exactly what I mean).
In this wonderful world, we are blessed with so much choice: choice of products, choice of services, choice of information to name just three. In all of these areas, I’ve experienced the good, the bad and the ugly during my 56 years on this planet. I believe that, just as we can all learn from each other’s mistakes, it makes sense to benefit from each other’s successes and experiences. How many times have each of us tried to re-invent the wheel when a perfectly good solution is already out there?
I’ve put this site together to highlight products, services and information that I have found (often after much research and more than a few mistakes) to have benefited me in my personal and/or business life. I have done this in the hope that my recommendations will save you time and help you to avoid the frustration of having to do your own research from scratch.
MY PRINCIPLES
I only recommend what I consider to be good value: even a free product can be poor value, if it wastes your time. I have bought many products and services that I WON’T be recommending to you. Similarly, I will NEVER recommend a product that I haven’t bought myself and found to be good value. So you can rest assured that if I make a recommendation to you, I have already been down that road before you!
Trust me, you can’t improve on a circular wheel!
